EBO EIRMS — Electronic Invoice Registration System
Fiscal transaction registration and electronic invoicing, engineered to the Ethiopian clearance regime.
What the system does
Registers the transaction
Fiscal transaction registration and electronic invoicing built to the requirements of the clearance regime, at the point the sale happens.
Keeps tamper-evident records
Records are held so that alteration is detectable, which is what makes them usable as evidence.
Interfaces to the Authority
An interface to the Ministry of Revenues registration system, rather than a manual re-keying step.
Monitors transmission actively
Transmission is monitored, so a failure surfaces as an alert rather than as a discrepancy discovered at filing.
Licensing status
Stated plainly, before commitment.
EBO is progressing licensing for the EIRMS — Electronic Invoice Registration System under the supplier track of Directive No. 1142/2026. Licensing by the Ministry of Revenues, and the security clearance the directive requires from the Information Network Security Administration, are both in progress at the date of writing.
We set this out in writing before any commitment is taken. Where you need a compliant route before our licensing completes, we will say so and advise accordingly — including where that means another supplier, or the Authority-operated cloud registration system, in the interim.
How it is delivered
| Route | What it means |
|---|---|
| Bundled with POS | A single arrangement, registration included with the point-of-sale deployment. |
| Integrated with ERP | Registered transactions post to the ledger without a separate step. |
| Alongside existing systems | Interfaced to what you already run, rather than replacing it. |
| Managed service | Operated by EBO, including monitoring and the response when transmission fails. |
What comes with it
Fiscal registration is not sold as a box on its own.
A sector-specific POS
One POS version of your choice from the 12+ built for particular trades, so registration happens where the sale actually happens rather than as a separate step afterwards.
The ERP Inventory module
Inventory and Warehouse is included, so stock depletes as the registered sale is made and the fiscal record and the stock position never diverge.
Need a compliant route?
We will tell you where you stand under the directive, including where the answer is another supplier.
