What it controls
| Capability | Coverage |
|---|---|
| Event planning | Event definition, scheduling, venue and resource assignment, with conflict checking across concurrent events. |
| Registration and delegates | Delegate registration, categories and quotas, confirmation and badge or ticket issue, with capacity control. |
| Budget and cost | Event budget set and committed, actual cost captured against it from procurement and payroll, with variance visible during the event rather than after it. |
| Suppliers and logistics | Venue, catering, transport and equipment engaged through procurement, so event spend follows the same approval trail as any other commitment. |
| Attendance and outcome | Attendance capture, session tracking, feedback collection and certificate or completion record where the event is a training event. |
| Reporting | Cost per delegate, budget variance, attendance against registration, and donor or sponsor reporting from source transactions. |
How it connects
Draws delegates from CRM and members, commits and captures cost through procurement and accounting, charges to projects and grants where an event is funded, and issues completion records through learning management.
What it gives the institution. Events stop being run on spreadsheets alongside the system. Cost per delegate is actual rather than estimated, and an event funded by a donor is traceable to the award like any other expenditure.
It also runs perfectly well on its own. If this is the only module you need, that is a supported deployment, not a compromise — and anything added later docks onto the same core.
